How this works
Your location is stored only in your browser's localStorage. It's used at runtime to compute when celestial objects are visible from where you are.
Nothing is transmitted to any server. The site is statically served from Azure with no user database. If you clear your browser data or use private browsing, your location resets to the site default.
Geolocation requests use your browser's built-in API — Deep Sky Creations never sees the prompt result, only the coordinates you choose to save.
