Ultimate Emulator / System
Atari 7800
The ProSystem cartridge library, on two joysticks.
RazorA7800 plays NTSC Atari 7800 cartridges with the joystick, both buttons and the console's switches. It needs the console's BIOS, which you provide. Support is experimental, so some cartridges will not run yet.

03 / Firmware & BIOS
A BIOS you provide.
Atari 7800 games cannot start until its BIOS is added. You add it once, and Systems shows Ready.
- Required
- One file: the console's original 4 KiB NTSC BIOS. Ultimate Emulator ships none, and there is no replacement BIOS yet.
-
Open Manage BIOS
In Systems, select Atari 7800 and choose Manage BIOS. Its firmware page lists each file the system uses and whether it is required.
-
Choose the file you own
Check What file do I need?, then use Choose BIOS File, or Choose Firmware Folder if you keep your firmware together.

04 / Input
How it plays in your hands.
Connect a controller and it is mapped automatically. Change the layout for every game, for this system only, or for a single game in Settings → Controllers.
Atari 7800 in Ultimate Emulator
- Two controllers, each with the joystick and the left and right buttons.
- The console's switches: Reset is on Start and Select on Select. Core Options also set each player's controller type and the difficulty switches.
05 / Picture
The original picture, on a modern screen.
Atari 7800 keeps its own picture: drawn at its original resolution and scaled to your window in the shape the console made.
- Resolution
- Drawn at its original resolution and scaled to fit your window, keeping the system's own pixel shape.
- Graphics settings
- Not offered for Atari 7800 yet. Integer Scale, cropping, pixel filtering and effects in Settings → Graphics apply to the other included systems.
